Today's Yellow River is not as wild as before. Floods do however still occur.
Many hydro-electric dams have been constructed or are under construction on the Yellow River.

3) The SanMenXia Water Reservoir and Dam South-West of Yingchuan in Ningxia Province. Where the Desert meets the Green.
4) Interruption of the Geat Wall of China by the Yellow River at Pian Guan (North-West Shanxi + Shaanxi Border).
5) Hukou Falls of the Yellow River, at YiXian on the West-Shanxi and East-Shaanxi Border.
7) Mouth of the Yellow River, emtying into Bohai Sea, Shandong Province Coast.
