Immediatly behind the Devaraja Hall is a bronze tripod upon which an object known as a Ding (Ding: dark lustrous patina). Around the top of it are 6 dragons, each of which is frolicking about and playing with a pearl. Depicted down at the Base are three lions, each of which is symbolically playing with a Ball. Both are recurring themes within Imperial Status Buildings & Temples.
Passing through the first Shrine Hall with three Boddhisatva's (Spririts about to enter Nirvana in the next Life) visitors come to the Central but not Largest Courtyard of the Lama Temple Complex.
Today this building is known as the Deva Raja Hall, but before the Mansion was converted into a Lamaist Temple of today it served as the entrance to the Imperial Home, hence its peculiar architecture.
